Lightening struck, accompanied by loud bangs of thunder. The
bang was so loud that it threw her off guard, she jerked with fright and fell
to the moist ground. She winced in pain as the light came closer, quickly
rolling over to the shrubs , then jumped to her feet. She ran blindly through
the farm digging her bare feet. She ran blindly through the farm digging her
bare feet into the ground. The bang hit again, this time she stood firmly on
her feet and clenched tightly on the stick.
“Who are you? What are you? What do you want from me? Show yourself!!! She screamed in frustration as she heard echoes of her own voice. The light kept coming closer, flashing directly into her eyes. She covered her eyes with her left palm, shielding it from the blinding ray of light. Then the wind struck, forcefully blowing up her gown. She struggled to keep them down but then, the wind was faster, flinging her clothes up and covering her head. She broke into a confused race, running left, right and center. The wind caught up with her, flinging her to the left side of the farm. She fell on her back, landing with a loud thud. Then, she lay still, pinned down to the earth by an unknown force. She gave up her fight, succumbing to pain passing through her veins, she watched helplessly as the wind blew her clothes in reckless abandon, reveling her bare laps. The light shined right in her face striking her on her chest, burning through her skin. She cried out in pain, and then everything went blank.
